Eliza Tyrrell

I really enjoyed looking going through Eliza Tyrrell's photostream on Flickr and seeing her sculptures. Her blog is also interesting because you get to see her photography and inspiration.

Tilt- Panic Room

The hotel Au Vieux Panier in Marseille, France asked Tilt to design a room, he first told them that he wasn't interested doing just decoration in the room but he wanted to create something that will look more like an installation. Watch the video to see what he did.

Artist Nick Cave

American fabric sculptor, dancer, and performance artist. He is best known for his Soundsuits: wearable fabric sculptures that are bright, whimsical, and other-worldly.

His website really took me by surprise. www.soundsuitshop.com

Dress

Then there's a sense of change the air, a desire for,
a need for new adventures, you need to act!
That first moment of goodbye to the old,
there's that feeling of something missing,
but then, with a little courage,
you push forward and find new inspirations!
When you embark on the long voyage and you're leaving home,
savour that bitterness electric instant...
Full of emotion when you realize you are in motion...
And headed to a new place to see new things, hear new noises, feel new feelings!
Moments follow their own roads, but destiny is near-sighted.
Lead her by the hand!
Obey your instincts, for they come from the heart that never lies.
Remember that change is good! And don't forget your toothbrush!

Hugo Lugo

Hugo Lugo
Wonderful work by Mexican artist Hugo Lugo.
He´s been developing work in various disciplines, mainly drawing, painting and photography. Sculpture, murals, and installation have lately given his work the opportunity to explore new dimensions of meaning.
"I am interested in the formal aspects of language and representation, in viewing objects as carriers of potential meanings and in strange situations that cause wonder." - Hugo Lugo
